Invite to Maintenance Operating Trial | Retrospective

This is to advise you that the CDR Standards for the banking sector are under maintenance and that, as advised on GitHub, we will be undertaking a trial of the Operating Model over the first 8-week cadence.

We want to ensure interested parties are involved in this trial so are advising all CDR participants of the upcoming meeting on the Maintenance Operating Trial to conduct a retrospective of the first iteration which will be conducted by DSB | Data61 on 4 December, 2019.

The retrospective will be facilitated by Louis Taborda, the Technical Delivery Manager and James Bligh, the API & InfoSec Working Group Lead. The change recommendations have been documented and submitted for approval to the DSB Chair, Andrew Stevens.

About the Maintenance Operating Model Trial
The Maintenance Mode of operation will be used for ongoing maintenance and enhancement of the CDR Standards once binding APIs have been released. This mode is expected to continuously incorporate changes resulting from feedback and community consultation into the standards. This will largely be accomplished by defining new versions of previously defined end points as well managing the process of decommissioning previous versions over time.

About the meeting
The purpose of this meeting is to hold a retrospective of the iteration, with participants reviewing what worked and what can be further improved in the Maintenance Operating Model.
