Departures and Arrivals

This week the Data Standards Body bid farewell to Ivan Hosgood. Ivan has played an instrumental role in the formation, definition and maintenance of the Register Standards. He joined the DSB from the ACCC and he came to us with exceptional insight and experience in the Consumer Data Right. We all wish Ivan all the best with his next journey as he heads off to France on a sabbatical for cheese, wine and the rich country side. Au revoir!

However, we also welcomed a new team member this week: Sumaya Hasan! Sumaya joins us as the Engineering Lead for the Data Standards Body. With her wealth of experience leading high performing engineering teams across different industries and countries, we look forward to her insight and leadership across our engineering tools platforms. She will join the Subject Matter Experts on the CDR Implementation Call in time. Welcome Sumaya!

 

12th Maintenance Commences

Note: the calls are now hosted on Microsoft Teams and hence there will be a change in access. All the dial-in details have been included in the invitation.

Telecommunications Sector

A reminder there is a Noting Paper and two Decision Proposals for the Telecommunications Sector. Feedback closes on the 5th of August 2022 on the Decision Proposals. The Data Standards Body highly encourages the Community to provide feedback on the two proposals:

 

Decision Proposal 260

This decision proposal outlines recommended changes to the technical energy standards to ensure closed account information can be shared in a schema compliant manner and in alignment with the rules.

 

CDR Test Documentation 1.0.2

The Data Standards Body are proud to announce Version 1.0.2 of the CDR Test Documentation. Released on the 19th of July 2022 the new version includes:

We would like to hear from you: survey on CDR guidance needs

The ACCC is working with the other CDR agencies to develop a cross-agency guidance strategy. This work recognises that there are currently different channels that CDR stakeholders use to ask guidance questions and find information. The high-level aim of the strategy is to ensure guidance is coordinated and consistent across CDR agencies.

The CDR agencies want to better understand the guidance needs of CDR stakeholders. We have released a survey for businesses and individuals who are holders or receivers of CDR data, or who provide services to these parties. For example, this includes data holders, accredited persons, CDR representatives and third-party service providers.

If you are a CDR stakeholder, we want to hear about how you find information about the CDR, as well as any issues you experience finding and using CDR guidance. The survey should take no more than 5 minutes to complete and will help inform the cross-agency guidance strategy. The survey will be available until 12 August 2022.

 

Energy Workshop: 27th of July 2022

It's been a while since the last Workshop with the Data Standards Body! The next workshop has been scheduled for the 27th of July 2022. This workshop is focused on the topic of Historical Data Sharing for the Energy Sector. The content will be heavily technical and require an assumed level of knowledge of the Consumer Data Right, Consumer Data Standards and current status quo. 

We invite the Energy Sector participants to register and contribute to the topic but to please keep in mind the nature of the proposed content.
